County Manager
Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of County departments and functions.

Represents the County in meetings with representatives from other jurisdictions, private industry, and members of the general public.

Works with County Council in determining county strategic plans and annual goals and objectives.

Implements the policies and actions taken by County Council in administering County business and developing policies and programs.

Explains policies, procedures, ordinances, and regulations to County employees and the general public.

Oversees preparation of the annual budget, submits it to County Council and oversees it's administration and approval.

Works with County Council in determining county strategic plans and annual goals and objectives.

Prepares budget recommendations and monitors expenditure control during the fiscal year.
County Attorney

Supervises, plans, implements, and administers the legal affairs of Greenwood County.

Provides general legal advice and oversight to the various departments.

Handles litigation involving Greenwood County in regulatory, administrative, judicial, and appellate proceedings.

Works with the County Engineer on ways to identify and resolve boundary line issues along Lake Greenwood.
Clerk to Council

Assists County Council members by performing a variety of secretarial and clerical duties; assists in budget preparations, makes travel arrangements

Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits a variety of documents such as billing invoices, accident/incident reports, insurance documents, payment requests, Council agendas, minutes, correspondence, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds for property, etc.

Establishes and maintains an efficient filing system for minutes, correspondence, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds for property, etc.

Schedules use of the Council's chambers and County Council conference rooms.
