Poll Workers needed for 2020 General Election

The Greenwood County Voter Registration & Elections Office is in the process of recruiting poll workers for the 2020 General Election cycle. In order to work the polls an individual must: 

  • Be registered in Greenwood County or an adjoining county.
  • Attend a 2 hour poll worker class or take a two hour on-line training class before each election.
  • Be tested after the class and pass in order to be considered.
  • 16 and 17 year-olds can apply and work at the same rate of pay.
  • The hours are 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM.
  • The rate of pay is $135.
